Gaspare, you know your flags man! Yellow and black represented Austria-Hungary probably until the start of ww1, as it was the Habsburg-Lorraine colors. In fact they were called the "black-yellow monarchy". (No disrespect to all 3 pittsburgh sports teams, and the steel city herself, of course)
