So nice to see Jim again. A great guy. So often you fear the worst when someone drops off the radar for a long period. Thanks for posting!

Hello everyone: It's been quite some time since I've been on here but I've stayed in touch with many of you privately or on other forums. Thank you all for the nice comments. As you can see; I was asked to be the firearms and militaria appraiser on a new PBS series here called Arizona Collectibles(Channel 8). We filmed an initial season of 13 weeks and the producers have already told us it's a big success and to prepare for a 2nd season. I did appraise a beautiful 2nd Luftwaffe dagger which was complete with hangers and portepee as I remember it. I tried to carefully explain that these are a part of history and a history we can not afford to ignore but it will be up to the producers to decide whether it airs or not. If you would like to view the above link click on the little reverse circular arrow and that will refresh the display. Jim P.S: It has been several years since I've attended a show primarily due to health issues. However at this point I intend to try and make it to next years SOS.

Good to see you are able to do something you enjoy Jim. I'd like to make it to one of the shows too very soon. Last one I went to Jerry had a Wehrmacht helmet with beers strapped to the sides at one of the Gottlieb parties. lol... I hardly have a minute these days for the forums or militria for that matter.

@Dave Between working 60+ hours a week and I have been trading heavily in the physical medals market (Gold & Silver). Its been pretty brutal lately. More a time of consolidation right now in practice though. I have been passively active with purchasing militaria though just not spending all my time on it anymore.. Still love my displays. Since I bought an old Victorian house I have even less time for anything that doesn't involve the house. lol
