One of our members sent in these photos. He wanted them scaled to the same size and put up for a project he has. I thought they may be of interest so you can see them HERE!
I think this covers just about all the tracked vehicles used by the German Army wink

And recon cars?

Some built on the same chassis as the tanks.

Added the Armored Cars 222, 234-1, 234-2, 234-3, and 234-4. John, can you give me a reference for the recon cars on a tank chassis? Thanks!

Just to clarify, the soldier in each image is 6' tall, and each vehicle is scaled to match so you can get an idea of just how big some of these contraptions were wink

Vern:

I have a book called, Wehrmach Panzer Divisions, by Jorge Rosado & Chris Bishop, published by Amber Books.

On page 42, it shows an image of a Recon car, Sd Kfz 140/1, that 'was one of the last variants of the Panzer 38(t) chassis'.

It is a good book about the Panzer Divisions, from No. 1 to the 130th Panzer formed in early 1944.

John

Thanks John, good catch. I totally missed that one. It's in there now. I see we have similar tastes in books wink I'll have to go back over them and see what else is missing.

Japanese anyone? Located HERE. The amphibious tanks have an image of the tank, and a 1/3 scale picture with it's pontoons attached. Some of the late production model tanks never saw action. They were emplaced as static pillboxes to defend against the expected invasion of Japan.
