At first glance, the rivets appear to be replacements which always casts doubt on the grip plates being original to the piece. This also leads me to what appears to be a slightly "off" fit of the grips. These were not always perfectly contoured to the hilt, especially later in the production period but were usually fairly similar. Just curious, are the grips loose at all?

Other than the rivets/grips, the piece appears to be an unmarked Eickhorn product in nice condition. A. Ziegler, Giangen is a distributor usually seen on Eick produced bayonets.
