Certainly rare but with all the condition issues and replaced parts I struggle to see why they commanded double the top estimate.Don't think they will show much profit if any after commission is deducted but then the auctioers and dealers I suggested would give you an idea of current market value. At the end of the day they are worth what they get on the day(subject to reserve)and if two people are desperate for them who knows.That obviously happened the last time they sold but if they don't make reserve you got a big bill for nothing.Best of luck the best bet may be West Street Antiques on commission that way if they don't sell it costs you nothing.
