Thanks Pvon my daggers were bought 10+ yrs ago so the pickens were better than. I just found a new resizing at ResizeMyPicture.com free n works fast.I used it for the pictures shown, resizing was one of the reasons for not showing photos

Not only do I research them, but I am also a collector. This M33 SS Bker dagger came into the Max Show a couple of years ago and ended up in the possession of Wolf-Hardin/Joe Pankowski who contracted me to do the research which I completed. It later turned up in a Gottlieb auction without the research and I was pleased to purchase it though the bidding was spirited. SS daggers with the Frth etching are rare and very few are identifiable to a specific SS Mann. SS-Hauptscharfhrer Hans Haubner, SS No. 47 125 attended the Frth school during the summer of 1934. What I particular liked about this one is that his stammkarte recorded his attendance there making the only other one I know of that is so documented. See it at: http://phpstack-500133-1583587.cloudwaysapps.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=279968&page=1In 1942, Haubner was promoted to Hauptsturmfhrer and was assigned in 1943 to the 14. SS-Freiwilligen Division Galician initially made up of Ukrainian volunteers. In August 1944 he was killed in a partisan attack while being transported on a train in Slovakia. Haubner is buried in Block 5 among the unknown soldiers in Vazec, Slovakia, since his remains could not be positively identified for an individually marked grave. Though no photo of him as yet been located, I like 'em like this. Enjoy! Ross Kelbaugh www.ssdaggers.comwww.ss-numbers.comwww.HistoricGraphics.com

Any one care to show the black stuff? This was the kind of stuff shared in the old days! Dave Get a camera and snap some photo's! 8 yrs ago you took pics and they were blurry! Your the big dog and moderator of the black stuff! You are blocking the hottest forum section because you won't get a camera! Can't just say junk on the czech stuff! Or get some help from the many collectors that can snap a picture and lets get this rolling! Kick the other moderators in the tush and give them fresh help! So many good collectors to share collections and pics and generate topics! The old school boys don't care! Give them a retirement watch if they don't want to do this! I don't care if they are the biggest and greatest since sliced bread! If they don't post then who cares! I would rather have a guy or guys with a desire to jumpstart this forum! Vern I hope you read this also! Just my thoughts! PVON

Will be showing some black!
Ryan Sellick has been kind to answer my call in sending me pics I asked for to share with members!
Will place a few here and then to proper sections!
Some really fine stuff has been shown already and have recieved a very lukewarm response!
I have no problem posting it in the other forum but at 1 time we had members that craved the good stuff!

Just a note the ring pictured is the example belonging to Maus, not the worn example...my mistake...the gloves are Waffen SS officer gloves, still with original RZM tag and nicely SS stamped inside...outstanding...only pair I ever saw or owned....cheers and thanks to Paul for taking the time to post on a Sunday, Ryan

Lots of great SS (black items). Terrific photos as well. Here are some of my "black" items. The scarlet and the black....it is a great movie as well.
'The Scarlet and the Black' (True Story)
Hugh O'Flaherty is a Vatican official in 1943-45 who has been hiding downed pilots, escaped prisoners of war, and Italian Resistance families. Stars: Gregory Peck, Christopher Plummer, John Gielgud
If you haven't seen the movie it's worth watching.
I included a couple of photos of one of my SS pistols with holster with the "Black" items.
Regards to All. Ed
