I know these Balkan ID Flags are controversial . This one is veteran acquired . One sided . No glow . Gromments look ok to me . What bothers me is the sloopy zig zag stitching of the disc . Any one see an original one of these made like this ? War Booty has one like it but cant make out the details . Thanks .

I see your concern. The resewn white thread looks brand new...
This might just be a jazzed up standarg NSDAP , someone removed the rondel... then did up a Balkin Cross motif rondel, and then sewn over existing sewn holes, but this piece just does line up 100%
I notice that the new sewn thread is not straight,(((pic #8)) or even zig zag, but slanted!!!
I say a fake new done one

I checked out a flag at an estate sale a few days that was almost identical to this one. It had been stored in a trunk full of patch work quilts along with an early party flag. The swastika center had the same squared off shape and zigzag stitch. I assumed that maybe the quilter had put it together until I saw this post. Now I�m thinking it must have been good.

flag is good,,, I have purchased several over the years with this "sloppy stitching",,this can be found on armbands also,not everthing made in the Third Reich was "perfect"
