Got this box from a local house today. They sure don't make cardboard boxes like they did in 1944 it is almost as sturdy as wood. and has no rot. This is a Military issue box that once contained tomato juice cans until the GI used it to mail back a few items. I wonder what's inside? Only cost 42 cents to mail it home to his mom! <p>

Most of them are from the same guy with a few odd balls thrown in. One has an engraving and a 1907 date. Another is dated 1930. All but 1 are .5L plus the engraved beaker. This guy has more stuff that his uncle sent home from Germany and he will be calling me as soon as he digs out the other stuff.

Hey Dem,
Very nice find. I can't remember the last time I saw Pennsylvania abbreviated that way.

can't complain on this find. steins , specially 1930s/ 1940s seem fairly rare.
I use to make boxes( till they shut the plant down) ,so I,m interested in the box too.
V board grade 2 ...
I bet , you're the only one on the planet to own this ww2 box.
any art work on the steins ?
