Zoza, very nice dagger and the decision is yours,,,this dagger is in a position to where it can be cleaned up and it looks some of the earthen look can be cleaned...OR!!!....You can leave it alone,,, the blade is in most excellent condition. Great find in that old house!! ........Maybe more??? regards Larry
