Jon Thank You - I noticed the quillions today when I got the dagger out for inspection they are quite unique almost like little stubs sticking up. I also like how the top of the crossguard head has been flattened. The early WKC guard seems to be the only close match to me? Your thoughts?

Without a doubt it is brass based throughout, it is a stunning addition.

p.s The quillion swirls are interesting, I wonder if that is a feature seen on all early C&J's?.
