I actually wasn't talking to you specifically. Anyway the fact is you don't know and you've probably unknowingly purchased some pieces that have been altered. Sure if you know stay clear, but in this case (and as you say "If he in fact he did do this (again not saying he did,but if)") you don't know so give him some slack
