It`s an absolute beauty! Probably my favorite maker - if I had to pick just one. Their quality was always outstanding through the period and somewhat better than Eickhorn in my humble opinion. I believe that this type is among those that would be considered difficult to come by. It would be interesting to know who else among the passionate army collectors has this type. I know you have one Tom and a fine example it is too.

oli1970 you have a fine set of Alcoso`s!

Hello Oliver!
It is nice to see you here!
It is a beautiful dagger in perfect condition.
This configuration (initial crossguard with 1st type TM) is extremly hard to find.

Nice ALCOSO collection by the way. smile

Congratulation!

Janos

I found the dagger to be very nice...but the company's history.....and unfortunate demise...incredible history. Awesome collection of A-Heers. Did Alocoso makes SA daggers?

Agree. Alcoso never made SA/SS daggers. There are a few fakes out there so beware.

a really great set of Alcoso`s you have. One of my favourite makers. Eickhorn you can keep em, condition for condition I`d take an alcoso every time.

Unfortunately I have only 2 by this maker.

here if you have not seen them already.

congratulations on a fine collection!
