Hi I am sorry to tell you that the kratchen (believe that is close to the spelling) is a poorly executed reproduction. The stampings are spurious and incorrect as is the piping. The thickness is incorrect as are the joint seams. There is nothing "good" or correct about the piece of headgear posted. Regards, Ryan If real $7000 to $10,000 perhaps even higher now $12,000 to $15,000??? extremely rare. I recall discussing with Derek Chapman and I think that he has handled one authentic example.
