You will never know the dagger has a generic crossguard and the tang mark is a common unknown forger�s mark

I agree with Tom. Everything about this dagger is Generic. Even if the scabbard could be identified to a particular maker, it would not indicate that this was manufactured by that maker, as parts were often bought and sold between manufacturers!
