There has been a change in attitudes about historical displays from what I can see. There were some pictures posted recently of a visit to Himmler's Wewelsburg fantasy castle shows Daggers and other items on display with nothing covered.

I have been to Wewelsburg Castle...and nothing was covered... the last time i was there, was 14 Nov 1998 but not sure what has happened since then.
