Mike ,actually a nice idea. But the SS one is long gone,99% of that collection sold 18 years ago to pay lawers. So beware of an SS blue/ gray "camo. paint, junk linner (post war) WITH painted SS decal & painted eldwiess on the other side. AND MY other 2 (still have) are so wierd that it would be hard to find some thing original to compare them too. as a teenager then , not intrested in creating some thing so simple/ common.. Has ANYone seen ANY SS helmets that have a camo. paint job ,AS IF it were actually a real camo. cover on it ??? I did a lot of them back then for the 3rd SS group in ILL. I do own original items too. if my internet stay up & running.... I'll pull a few things out & post photos. jeff h.
