The first skull (which started this thread) is a nice original. The second is, I am sorry to say, a cast copy.

Brad your absolutely correct! I thought that image looked odd early this morning when I posted it and yes, that�s suppose to be an example of a fake TK. Sorry about that, I took it out of the wrong image directory this morning. Red Face I even surprised myself, I was pretty sure I didn�t have a real M 1/24, I should have double checked. Roll Eyes

The skull is cast from nickel silver and then the backside has been aged with what looks like soot. The wildly varying thickness of the edge is one of the first signs. Its difficult to see but the attachment points on the prongs are incorrect as well.

The piece is also very heavy as compared to an original, almost twice as heavy, very noticeable when you place it in your hand.

Sorry about that lads, I can't read a darn thing within arms any longer without my glasses. Wink
