Here are a couple of police long swords (sabers) that were used by the German mounted police. The heavier saber at the top is an Imperial issue saber adopted by the Prussian Schutzpolizei in the Weimar era for use by its mounted police. Below it is an Eickhorn Model 189, listed in an Eickhorn catalog as a Extrawaffe for Mounted Police NCOs.
