Billy,I just got the stag grip piece in from Germany a few days ago, as I'm sure you know buying anything from pictures is a bit of a minefield, I was pleasantly surprised that it was better than what I had hoped, better than the officers piece which I have had for a few years now though and thats no slouch. It wasn't until I ran my finger over the ricasso that I noticed it had been ground, that made me look very hard at that area, never seen grinding quite like this before, I had thought that all distributors bought their goods with a plain blade, obviously not.The early oval stylised PDL mark is so distinctive that it had to be them even though such a small portion remained. I hope Ron can post a picture of his hirschf�nger and the mark just to compere.
