These rings are for historical purposes only and are designed to serve the collector who cannot afford a real SS Honor Ring. Because real rings increasing in value every day and worth thousands these provide a healthy alternative.
We do not want people to be ripped off with our rings. This is why we are posting photos of our rings so that people can learn to spot them with careful study. We support the discussion of our rings on forums and message boards. Also we will not engrave rings with a classic date year and will only engrave them with the year that your ring is manufactured, or with a year of your choosing that is after 1945. We will not send out blank rings."
I guess they are trying to be somewhat scrupulous?
