Just picked this puppy up today from the vets daughter. What makes it extra special is the mail tag affixed to the chinstrap. The GI was in service company 33rd armored regiment 3rd armored division (Spearhead). His info is on one side and his mothers name and adress is on the other side. The helmet came with a group of his items. The helmet also has a paper tag affixed to the dome with the German soldiers name along with his intials along the inside skirt. It is an SE64. Its amazing how some of these helmets were shipped back to the states!
