Are the designs on two different weapons? Do any East Coast museums boast a large collection of Sch�tzen rifles? It would be nice to study a whole room-full of handcut designs like that for an hour or two ... beautiful work.
I wonder what a first class engraver would charge for something like that today? Could anyone venture a guess at what either of these patterns would set somebody back these days?
