Hello!
I see that not many Pol. helmets have been posted recently. So, here's mine.
This fellow wore his helmet for a long time. The forehead area of the liner is very wrinkled from sweat, and the whole liner is discolored from contant wear.
The chinstrap is dated 1938, Larsen, Berlin. There is a faint dome stamp inside. The man's name "Schwind" along with "60." is written on the liner. ET64 stamped on inner skirt. There is even a little blood inside too. There are many scratches on the outside and the exposed steel has darkend over the years. This came from a vet's widow.
Cheers, Marcus

Do anyone know what the "60" means?
Here is a shot of some blood on the liner.

Thanks gents! I really appreciate the compliments. I think Police helmets are among the most attractive TR helmets ever produced.
I sure wish "Schwind" had marked his first name or at least his intial. As much as this one was worn, I would love to know his wartime career. Just from the way the helmet looks, one can tell his guy went through hell and back.
Thanks again for the nice words!
Cheers, Marcus
