Gentlemen,

Excuse my ignorance but I have a question. Like most boys back in the 1950s I made model planes, ships, etc. Like most kids with little sense, I no longer have those models having destroyed them in final battles with the onset of moving toward what seemed more manly pursuits, such as an interest in girls.

What I did keep were my 1950s period Dinky toys and SAE figures. As a matter of fact, I have added to those over the years to complete the pre-1959 military models that I did not have. My question is, are current modelers interested in the old stuff?

Here is an example of what I am talking about. This is a Dinky 161b Anti Aircraft Gun with the attendant personnel. These were made pre-war from 1939-1940 and postwar from 1946-1948.

Of course if you never throw anything away, it becomes a collectible if you simply live long enough. I have quite a few Dinky, SAE, Elastolin, etc toys and figures if there is any interest in seeing them.
