While the �nib� on fake tie strap stud presented earlier appears to have higher profile. Nibs can also be seen on a number of legitimate frogs. Although usually some effort was made to remove them resulting in a lower profile (or no nib) being present. Here are (4) samples including an early Luftwaffe.
