I have been offered this dagger which the seller alleges is a parts dagger. Based on the pics that he has sent me would anyone like to offer any advice? The amount he asks is not much more than a good quality reproduction so my other question is 'parts of WHAT exactly'?

If you want to criticise someone first walk a mile in their shoes. Then, when they come after you, you'll be a mile ahead and they'll be barefoot.

1. Balde looks good - I mean not fake.
2. Crossguards are OK.
3. Handle looks good.
4. Eagle was reinserted.
5. SS emblem looks good.

It seems the dagger used to be in real poor condition before and was cleaned/restored. I'm not sure if all the parts come from one dagger, but they look original and honest to me.
