Hi Guys. does anyone know where to obtain SS/SA fitted dagger cases from, preferably a rare as hens teeth original, but even the 60's spanish repro ones would suffice for display.

thanks

Pete,

The ordinary SS ans SA daggers, as well as the Rohm dedication daggers came in kraft paper bags. I have seen at least one picture of SS daggers being awarded where the dags were lined up on a table, out of their bags, ready to be handed out.

Even with the Damascus-bladed Honor Daggers, I do not think that I have seen a period presentation photo and I do not know of original hard cases. What I have seen in person is a gray wool storage bag with a zipper closing. It is similar to the storage bags seen with SS swords. If someone has photos or added info on that, it would great to know.

Dave

However, on some Honor daggers there were apparently presentation cases issued. They seem to be rarer than the dagger. Eek
