Now that everyone is full of turkey and, I hope that all have had a pleasant and safe Thanksgiving, I'm looking forward to more participation in this topic.

For myself, wartime stamp collecting besides offering an insight into the history of the time period and it's trappings, depicted in pictures and descriptions of course, it makes one think a bit more.

Most may not realize that to begin collecting the wartime stamps one can still begin with a nominal investment, not so with daggers, decorations, etc. Some of the stamp shows throughout the U.S. and in other countries, are larger than most militaria shows.
