I am getting really good at talking myself out of buying daggers & exercising some self control.

I have had my curiosity aroused and also posed the same question. It may be possible that this is a unique cross guard? It has certain similarity to the early Klaas in places but the wreath is quite different. If compared to both of the klaas depicted in Wittmann`s book -which are not identical - it does not share their common traits.
