I have seen several pre-war SS trumpet banners, in varying degrees of quality and construction. But IMO this does not exhibit what I would expect to see even in pre-RZM construction.
Does this piece have any provenance?

i can vouch for this, ive had it in hand, bob tredwen is selling it for around 900 uk, it has the standarte number on the reverse, in my past expeirience ive had no problem with bob, and he is at most shows, so has nothing to hide. i like it.

Well, I will say the ones I have seen have been significantly more expensive.

FROM THE PICTURE ALONE, I WOULD HAVE SERIOUS DOUBTS REGARDING THIS PIECE. PICTURES ALONE DO NOT TELL ALL.

I concur with Bob. I would walk away and not think twice about it. IMO- It's a repro of something made for a bad movie. And the price....sorry a real one goes for a lot more than that. -serge-

IMHO, the catch all phrase of items that are non-standard seems to be early production, pre RZM I will accept that for the SA, but i really have a hard time when it comes down to the SS.. Like everything, an in hand inspection is warranted, but 900 Euros? Maybe I am just jaded!
