I took so many there at Munster. I tried to take
detail pics that may be of interest to modelers and researchers rather than just the front of tanks. It was a wonderful day. It is a fantastic museum. They have a great section on uniforms.
Our guide told us the Germans kept making the same mistake with their Panzers----bigger, bigger, instead of building 4 times as many. He had a model of the mouse there, I think 2 are in Russia. He also said that the Germans had a giant panzer on the drawing board with treads 15 feet wide.

I also spent a day at Laboe with the U 995 and took tons of pics there. It was neat as we were looking at the U 995 right out of Kiel harbor comes one of Germanys top secret "noiseless" U Boots right by us!
