I think most know that the Juncker 'Lazy2'(or 2 series) Knight's Cross is quite hefty in hand. Years ago that was one of the 'tests' used...among others....to determine a genuine Juncker.
The added weight, over and above the Juncker 800, L/12 was probably added to by the thinkness of the paint on these later Crosses.
It does appear to be a significant covering!

Yes, it has become that crazy!!! One needs a loup and a laptop prior to throwing down $8 to $10k!! Of interest however, and I only now noted, is the very heavy 'texture' and particles in the paint.

Man is that a good closeup! What camera do you have. Your right it's interesting to really see the texture of the paint.

It's just a simple Sony but utilizing 'doublers' it's next to a microscope if one has a steady hand!!!
I suspect I'm repeating my original post but the amount of bits, particles, bone? surely added to the weight...
What do others think?
