This is the other side. If you look closely to the rear of the side bolt, you can see the vet scratched in very small letters the date he picked it up: June 12, 1944.

Chris, nice helmets. The Para's are always difficult to find. And Russ, don't despair. It took me twenty years to find one out of the wood-work, just by talking to a guy at a bar one night. The price was even better. Steve.
