I must respectfully disagree with Ed's comment. I dont think these swords are junk. I would say they are very good quality, which is the scary part. They are certainly of better quality than many late war army sabers. The post war Solingen made navy sabers are of very good quality. I think the ones sold by military heritage are NOT made in Solingen. At any rate, the idea is to be aware that the replicas are out there and to do your best to make sure you know what you are buying. Joe S
