Anybody got any tips on how to remove the lead weight from a stripped SS scabbard? It doesn't seem to want to move even though I've stripped all the fittings.

tap the throat end hard on a piece of wood, use a cleaning jag on a cleaning rod or a large screw soldered on to a rod and screw it into the lead and pull. i have used all these methods with success

Thanks, I was thinking of the second method you proposed, sinking a screw into it and pulling it out, though I feared to mess it up.
