Here is mine, anyone else do the stands? I stick a big soft foam oval inside the helmet with a hole cut in the center should a tip-over occur. Works well, adds support so its not such a balancing act and ripped liner waiting to happen.

Derek,
A very tasteful and impressive display of some very fine-condition helmets. I like the look and feel of it. Beautiful!
PS - the image limit is now 75 kb.
Cheers,
Darryl

Thanks! That 75kb limit is a blessing now. ...Another helmet-on-a-stick:

The minimalist display works really well Derek. Cluttered collections just spoil the aesthetic

Derek, I like those wooden displays you have. They really brings out the shape of the helmet as well as the chinstraps. If your FJ helmet has the straps intact you should put it up on one of these stands as well. And yes, nice helmets as well.... Erik

Okay so here it is again. I've got a new helmet that I'll be picking up in a couple days that'll join the ranks. Its been shown here on GDC before. It's a hard to find type.

nice display very well thought out not sure about putting the foam inside the helmet as this sometimes reacts with the leather i went for glass heads as there is no chemical involved.just a thought perhaps the other guys will set the record straight

Graham may be right with the foam, however this may take some time. Like the up and down effect of your display.
