Hi, Please have a look at this one. The logo. Is it a "blinded plain" variant?

I don't know about this "blind variant" stuff, Only that the eye is missing. No big deal, since it was just a dot on the template which sometimes got filled in or smudged.

The inscription shows no wear at all .Yet the motto does?

2 Gailen David: As we can see at TW's book the majority of SS Rohm daggers carry "serrated pattern" TM. JR at http://daggers.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/477091573/...580099205#4580099205 said that "EP&S as well as Eickhorn, no doubt bore the lion's share in manufacturing 125,000 SA Rohm daggers in the year 1934. We have already seen that in both SA and SS Rohm production, Eickhorn blades were produce with a different motto etch and a different squirrel logo. As suggested, this could very well could point to the fact that some of Eickhorn's production was source out to another firm that specialized in blades." So the Question is: What TM patterns could we consider as in-house Eickhorn production and what are original, but made by sub-contactors? ----- 2 Zorro: Both sides have the same traces of wear.

I see wear in all of the pictures I see - you have to look close at the inscription side, but it does show wear . . . Brad

The trademark is more commonly known as the smooth tail. Mine is the same and has no eye.

Thanks for the inputs. As of the motto pattern I beleive this is inhouse production. More nice finds in the coming New Year! Regards, Sokol
