This is what I found in an old box at a show today.
Exceptionally rare Elastolin toy soldier figure of AH Circa 1934. These figures seldom survive due to the anti-Nazi wave of anger that swept through Europe during and after the WW11 resulting in nearly all of them being destroyed. This very, very rare example is almost mint.

Nice! The personality pieces are quite hard to find. I just picked up a 25pc SA marching band. I wish I had cool toys like this when I was a kid. (Of course elastolins and BB guns don't mix...)

MM. I do not have a clue. No idea how common they are. As rare as hen's teeth or as many as there are sheep in New Zealand. I think like all of the obscure things in this hobby it is worth what anyone is willing to pay for it. The beauty is that it is period, in good condition and represents a person whom history will never forget. I am open to offers as it does not have an edge and is not a stabber or jabber.....

Thanks AJ.
I contacted them and they have a model of the same era in an auction this month. It is of one of the famous Generals and they have it ranging from 80 - 120. I am going to see what it fetches then I may place this one in another auction.
Handy that. TA
