There is a dagger on ebay, I have posted the link, this is the dagger I inquired about with the Sami grip material. Also please note the unusual pommel. The one on Ebay is not mine, but mine is the same.

I had understood the Sami grips indicated use during the Japanese occupation.

Can you clarify what this dagger is.
