The first thing we should get right here > This one is NOT DUTCH - the common mistake made every time , because it shows a Wolfsangel / Wolfshook .. Mostly encountered used by the Dutch National Socialist Movement & indeed the DUTCH SS .
The Dutch SS ( Later Germanische SS in den Niederlnden ) wore the Wolfsangel on their upperarm & Visorcap ; however , they NEVER had their own Beltbuckle ..!!
This item is in fact > FLEMISH < [ DUTCH-speaking Belgium ) , worn by de " Zwarte Brigade " , and EXTREMELY RARE .
Dear Mike , I also do believe yours is a repro ; These repro's are quite well-known , the tab is a newer addition , but actually makes it look even worse ! Still these do very well on Ebay , since many collectors think an " unknown buckle " like this was never faked , and there is no nasty SWASTIKA involved ! Market Value is therefor pretty good > they always sell to the ignorant .. But please listen to your conscience , and be a better person than that !
Dear Ric , I have in 20 years of collecting seen many , many repro's , but never an original of these - thank you for sharing ..!

Since there was no info at all that I could find on GDC regarding this most interesting Flemish buckle , I hope it is O.K. to show the following picture here , taken from >
" Foreign Legions of the Third Reich Volume 2 " by David Littlejohn - 1st Edition 1981 .
