Here is the new refinished scabbard, I decided to leave some pitting in the scabbard since the rest of the dagger isn't perfect I did not want the scabbard to look out of place on the rig. I think it was a better decisions the scabbard still pretty much matchs the age of the rest of the rig the pitting spots that I left seem to look like they are just spots coming through the anodized. I am happy and it looks 100% better then nasty post war paint over rust and original anodizing finish.
Oh and I blued it and used laquer clear coat over the blue.
