From what can be seen in these pics it COULD be an original 3.R. period government dagger. Due to the crossguard and certain details of the scabbard let me assume it to be an EICKHORN more than an ALCOSO, can also be wrong on this due to the very bad pic.
Naturally better pics are necessary but the dagger seems to be worth to be examined.
You can send better pics at [email protected] (remove NOSPAM before sending).

I got the pic above but in a much larger dimension and this is what I wrote back to our member Matarese:

I cannot see any red flag concerning the dagger in the pic and also the accouterments. Now (due to the scabbard bands, the scabbard ring holders, the screws of the scabbard, the ferrule (can be seen between the portepee wrapping), and the crossguard eagle it seems to be a "textbook" (although personally I do hate this word) ALCOSO gov. dagger. Also the hangers do conform to those original ones I do own and have seen.
Overall good condition with some spots of obvious wear but not bad. I think the hit in the scabbard is the most bad one. It is a matter of price.
Please understand theat ANY FINAL statement could only be made after holding a dagger in hands and not from a single, still not too detailed pic, but as said, I cannot see any red flags in this single pic.

I have also added a rough price imagination.
