Hi Stingray,
Here's some pictures of a Pack Luft I once owned to compare with. It was silver plated throughout and wish I never sold I kicked myself 10 minutes after i shipped it out but I cannot keep them all.
The silver plating was most likely a option offered as i have seen both the early MM and Siegfried MM have had this. I have not seen any Pommel's without the dots around the swas on the unmessed with originals they might exist i just have not seen one.
