The photos of both bayonets look good to me, although I must say that I am impressed by the overall quality of the image using the digital microscope. And now that it�s been explained, I can see the peening on Terry�s bayonet better. It was really throwing me off, and I had visions of something like a green anaerobic thread locking compound being used to lock the blade in place. Eek

As for the question on grip plate fit, it seemed to me from the first photo that there was some misalignment upward. Which would not be surprising I think for a later manufactured item. Regards to All, FP
