When i not collect German daggers , i have "vibs" for Military Divertype watches and spesial wrist watches. I just wonder what type of wristwatches do you have on your wrist ? Please post a picture if you have time Regards LH Here is one of mine. MTM Navy black seal 12000 m http://www.specialopswatch.com/The Seal are limited number runs of the 12000 meters. All are sold out. They still make the same type but only in 1000 m http://www.specialopswatch.com...oducts.cgi?detail=34

I don't wear one most times.
I have clocks in my car, on my computer, on the TV, Microwave, Etc.
When I travel I have my father's solid gold case Lord Elgin if I need one.

I wear a Timex Indiglo day/date. Does everything better than my Rolex...it's much easier to read the face and the Timex glows in the dark bright enough to see a keyhole in the dark. I buy a new one of them about every 5-7 years. Mark

Like Dave, I have an 18k gold Bulova wind up watch from my dad but it is too valuable and precious to wear as a regular wearer. Again, also like Dave, there are clocks every where that I live except at shows when my stomach keeps me abreast of the time. I also have an inscribed gold Bulova Accutron that was a retirement present from my employer but it is a bit too flashy for everyday wear.
I feel that kingtiger (Mark) is by far the most wise and the smartest with his choice of a Timex.
Rolex watches and diamond rings, be real!!!!

Kind of a watch nut also..current watch I'm wearing. Ana-digi Reactor Tide watch. Since we live on an island and do a lot of boating,it comes in handy.

Hello All, nice timepieces! I found this Bulova quartz watch in 1982 in the parking lot of a rest area on I-95. The strap had broken and it had fallen off the owners wrist. Luckily, he did'nt back over it with his car! I used it for 15 yrs, hunting, fishing etc. To this day it keeps superb time! Note the old "Twist-o-Flex" watchband I put on it back in '82! The luminescent numbers and hands still glow! Regards, Leipzig

Being a dinosaur I always take the long view. There was a time in this hobby that a great many dealers had a few Rolex Submariners in with their Lugers, badges, and daggers for sale and trade. Growing up in the country I never heard of Rolex, but one of my dagger buddies convinced me they were "The" watch. I bought my first one in the 80's, and IMO he was right. Having said that, watches are as personal as our girl friends and automobiles, so what ever floats your boat is fine.

LH, The story and the watch are awesome! I love the skull and rose. The Roman #s mixed with standard #s is VERY unique! Kudos on a fine instrument with quite the provenance. Cheers, Pauli

Alot of interesting watches being shown here. The WW2 period Glashutte Tutima pilots chrono is a rare bird and the pride of any vintage watch collection. I really enjoy the history of Universal Geneve as they are rich in military watch production. I have repaired and restored many of these early complicated timepieces around the world for many dealers and collectors alike. The same goes for all Heuer watches especially the Carrera models as they have a strong racing history. If you can find any of the early Longines or Omega wrist or pocket chronograph watches used as timers in racing circles those are definitely hotter than hot !

Are we running out of 3rd Reich topics to discuss here? Will the next topic be: "What kind of razor do you use to shave?" I'm betting this will start a raging blade vs. electric controversy!! Here's my Retro watch Jim
