Hi guys,
I need help on this one. Never owned one before, but did some research and that one looked good. What's your opinion?
Thanks,
:Adam:

I believe the pins with the raised makers mark, like this one, are repros.

777 (Adam)-
Here's a link that I thought was interesting on this type of pin.
Read starting about 6 frames down a post from Eric Seat and there is some input that may be worth considering.

Thanks Dean, I've checked the thread and there is a pin presented by "Kursk" that looks like mine and from what I understood is an original.
Anyway, from the beginning I wasn't sure about my pin, so I'm not surprised or disappointed. Thanks for opinions.

I would not be so fast in labeling all such raised lettered SS pins fake.I know that Raymond G dos not believe them to be period, and i respect that opinion.

I also have seen two that came from unquestionable veteran sources, of the raised pattern.

I would think that there are questions still to be answered in regards to this matter.
