I am a collector of Bavarian Polizei items and recently obtained a tunic and visor cap for the Nurnberg Stadtpolizei. I am trying to put together a complete uniform for this agency but have having trouble finding any photos or guides that show what the complete uniform included as far as insignia, etc. Can any of you help me with this area. Also if anyone has any of the items for the uniform in question (badges, cords, etc) I am willing to pay top dollar for them. Thanks!

Joe,

It all depends upon the time period of your uniform. If you mean the postwar blue one with open collar it will be different from earlier green ones.

Can you show us a photo of what you have?

Thank you for the reply. I am having a hard time uploading the photos due to file size, I hope to have them posted soon.

Joe,

I think your uniform is complete with the proper insignia. Blue piped with rank collar tabs and no shoulder boards. The cap insignia looks correct and complete. What else did you think you needed?

Perhaps Andrew or someone else can think of something missing.

I was not sure if there were any pocket/breat type badges worn, or any type of whistle and chain. Thanks for the help though. I have several uniforms from current Bavaria and the old DDR that are complete, but this one is harder to get photos of in use.
