Not a P-38, a PP, and a beauty it is.

Sauckel presented several of these Walther PP's (not P.38) during the period. Exceedingly rare and desireable. This is the first time I've seen this particular one. Most were all gold finish as this one appears to have been. A real pity about the condition but it will no doubt, sell for high dollars.
WANTED TO REPURCHASE!! Walther pistol Model PP - ac code - Ser. No. 382000P - REWARD FOR INFO ABOUT THIS PISTOL!!

Rock Island Auctions has a few presentation style pistols like this in their up comining auctions. while they seem to do very well selling guns, I was not impressed in what I saw in some of their 3rd reich military offerings, that in my opinion were 'authentically challenged'.
