Has anyone seen or do you have a Klitterman & Moog HJ that is not a transitional? Has anyone got an early no ricasso motto model? What about a GG marked example? I have found this maker to be scarce to find in transitionals-and I have seen only one early GG marked but it had a ricasso and no motto. Let me know what you have if you have the time. Thanks Russ

You think it is scarce in HJ, you should try finding an SS !

I have 4 K&M HJs (1 early no motto GG marked with ricasso & 3 transitionals of different years) BUT I doubt there are 4 K&M early maker marked SS daggers in existence! I have yet to see a K&M with a motto but until I got my GG marked example about 3 months ago I had never seen one of them without an RZM mark in 30+ years of collecting. Too that time, I had only found transitionals. I have a picture of a K&M that is in block script that a fellow collector took for me of an HJ (last know whereabouts in Denmark) but he did not take a picture of the obverse blade so I don't know if it had a motto. The block letters had only the name of the company and no other mark whatsoever. Anyone got one of these? What oddball makers do you guys have? The K&M I have in early form came right out of the woodwork so they are still out there but getting harder to find all the time. Dadgum "Saving Pvt. Ryan" movie increased their popularity 1000% & sent them through the roof in my opinion. Russ

I just found a salty K&M HJ,offered to my through a local add.
It's a salty one, but a rare maker.
I'm still waiting on some extra pics.
But to help you with your quest it's a transitional one without moto (but it could be grounded (not clear on the pics i got).

What is GG ?
