This Luft camo was a recent pick-up. Should go well with a Luft ground smock that recently came from a local Bud,

I was lucky enough to make a few deals with another collector. The wire helmet has been on my list for quite some time. NS 64

That's an interesting colour scheme, I have a M40 cammo with similar colours... I've had a few helmets this year, but am almost as proud of my new IKEA shelves....

Hi Arjan, afraid not, this is my total collection, (well, minus 4 or 5 other helmets) only a few of them were added this year. ( I wish this was 2005's contribution...)

This one's a nice thread because I can see wonderful helmets. Well, talkin bout a round-up, I took 4 prisoners last year. (Well, maybe I should call them "guests.") That was an amazing number, compared with only one in 2004, which came from Kelly. None of them came from Kelly last year. (I know some forum members had that luck. ) From Top to Bottom: EF64, CKL64, Q66, and Q66DD. Unfortunately, none of them are parade or minty. It just happened to be all well-worn combat. I wonder what I can find this year. Shu

Shu, Very impressive stack of SS soldiers (sorry, guests ) you rounded up last year. I see it was a very good year for you too. Although I am not normally a camo guy there's something about your green one that really turns my crank. Cheers,
Darryl

Thanks, Darryl. Good to talk to you again in the forum. Me too, I'm charmed with your black beauties, whenever you post the photos of them. I'm not particularly a camo guy either, but camos are certainly interesting as they add a variety to the otherwise uniform-colored Waffen SS helmets.

Nice helmets, Tony. I really like the double-runic example. Looking forward to images of your DD FJ helmet tomorrow.

Hi, Tonym, what's the decal underneath the right side of your double-runic? Are both decals field-applied AT THE SAME TIME? Would appreciate more description. Certainly, looks fine to me, though. BTW I notice your DD is on Kelly Hicks' SS HELMET: A COLLECTOR'S GUIDE. A nice solid collection! Shu
